Story
Wills was diagnosed at just 18 months old with Diabetes, it has been a challenging condition to be given at such a young age. We all manage his blood sugar control as best we can, its very difficult w a small child because you never really know how much food they are going to eat or when you go out how much exercise or running about they are going to do. Wills is AWESOME with handling it, drinks or eats his jelly babies when he is having a hypo and I demand him to, or is good with his finger pricking and delivery of insulin. Due to the fact as yet he cant control it himself Simon or I are always with him and he has a one to one in school. I do pray that there will be a cure for this one day and parents of diabetic children can sleep peacefully through the night and their first thought in the morning is not what| is my child's blood sugars, or getting up at 2 am to check them !! For Wills also I just hope if his or Olivias children do get it a cure has been found !!!!
So here I go again with the training.i love running and training but marathon training is hard, it takes a lot of my time and effort and I wouldn't do it unless it was to raise money for this cause !!!!
Thank you xxxx
