We are two mums that started going for a run after drop off and have somehow ended up running a half marathon?!Shona and I have decided to run to raise money for the much loved village nursery where both our children have and one still does attend. This is a much loved nursery and we hope you will be able to help us with our fundraising. This is a registered charity.
They run a child-led setting where learning takes place through creative play indoors and outdoors in our magical Forest School. They have been based in a temporary cabin for 21 years and the building is rapidly deteriorating with rotten floorboards, temperamental heaters and leaking windows. The children need more floor space to play, more room to hang coats and proper insulation for the winter. Fundraising has always been essential to replace toys and equipment but now efforts must be greatly increased in order to build a new cabin and give the children and staff the environment they deserve. This project is being voluntarily managed and led by parents but even with these cost savings we still need your help to raise £100,000. Thank you for your support.
