Story
Trinity Hospice has and does help so many family's in the Fylde coast area...my family is one of them. This is why we would like to raise money for Trinity Hospice.
In 2015 Alison (Ricks daughter, my neice) was diagnosed with bone cancer which despite an amputation was ultimately untreatable. Alison passed away 18 months later in 2016, she was 11 years old.
Trinity hospice supported us as a family during our darkest times. Alison spent time staying at Brian House where they absolutely spoiled her, showering her with love, care and affection right up until her final weeks. Always making her smile!
After her passing Trinity Hospice continued to offer support, they provided counseling via The Linden Centre which has helped them to put one foot in front of the other.
In 2018 Amanda and Rick had a son, Ryan who was born with Downs Syndrome. Brian House continues to provide amazing support. Ryan has sleepovers several times a year, where they spend time caring for him allowing Rick and Amanda valuable respite from the day to day challenges that having a child with Ryan's conditions presents. Ryan is thriving with his parents, family and Trinity Hospice love and support.
There is 3 of us that have signed up and we are ready to take on a challenge to raise money for Trinity Hospice, to allow them to to continue their amazing work and as a Thank you for all their support.
