5k fun run · 2 October 2021 ·

Dogs have an incredible sense and it is well known they can accurately detect the odour of human disease. We believe that our medical detection dogs can be trained to detect COVID-19 and be an important part of the efforts to overcome this epidemic.

Story

The lovely team of veterinary staff I work with at Barrow hill veterinary hospital are taking part in a 5k fun run with glow in the park in Kent and are raising money for medical detection dogs.

This charity trains dogs to detect different illnesses and medical conditions that could affect a person's life, and they are trained to both support and assist people with their day to day running of their lives.

Recently medical detection dogs have researched and have started training their dogs to help towards early detection of COVID-19.

So please share to your friends and family and donate to a great cause... Thank you ☺
