Today, the classrooms at GCSC are empty, no students are meeting for lunch in the Student Union or watching a Commodore basketball game. While we hope to see all their faces soon at the college, we know that this pandemic has made the pursuit of education difficult for many of our students. Many dont know the status of their employment and are facing economic hardship. To help, the Gulf Coast State College Foundation has established the Commodore Cupboard Food Pantry Fund to help the College assist students who are now facing sudden food insecurity due to crisis situations such as Hurricane Michael and now the COVID-19 pandemic. As a part of our College and Foundation family you know how important the support of our students education is to their success at life and the growth of our community.
