My reasons for signing up for the Trek and raising money for Cancer Research are simple. At 16 i was diagnosed with Hodkins Lymphoma, cancer of the lymphatic system. My treatment was 6 months of chemotherapy, which i can assure you is not a pleasent experience. I believe that if it wasn't for the work of organisations such as Cancer Research then i would not be here today. I want to raise money to help the amazing work they do and help fund research that will save more lives.
