Crashpad Cabaret · 22 September 2018

The Pilion Trust supports and advocates for our most marginalised people in our communities. We work with: Young people in crisis; Women at risk of harm; People who are homeless; Low income families; Older people living in squaller; People who struggle in life due to their complex needs.

Story

The Crash Pad is an emergency youth shelter that supports vulnerable 18 to 23 year olds to get off of the streets and away from harm.

The shelter offers a safe home environment and support for young people in crisis who are experiencing homelessness, and the complex needs that surround their situation.

As well as shelter and food, the Crash pad provides opportunities into education and work, access to workshops that encourage independence and well-being, pathways into secure housing and ongoing support through the young persons journey back in to the community.
