Having worked in hospital as a Oral and Maxillofacial SHO for the last year I've met and worked with lots of wonderful people.  There are a group of these people, however who aren't always noticed for all the hard work and commitment they put in, and who I feel make a real difference to patient's and their families when they receive sad and often life changing news.  These are the Macmillan nurses, who provide fantastic support to both patients and their families.  Their wonderful work is inspiring, and for this reason I've decided to run the Bupa Great South Run and raise as much as I can for this amazing charity.
