Story
I am challenging my little legs to the 5.6km run in Battersea Park on the 11th July 2012 to raise money in memory of a special little boy Matthew Russo.
I know that 5.6 kilometres may not sound like much but I'm going to challenge myself to finish in under 28minutes! Given my vertical challenge I would appreciate your support. I am currently training so hard, I will be as fast as Usain Bolt in no time!
My chosen charity is the Springboard Project, as Matthew loved going to their school holiday clubs, I would like to give something back for all their wonderful work.
Matthew has a foundation set up in his memory to raise funds for the local area that support children with special needs and organisations that support families through bereavement, and I have selected Springboard out of those charities.
