Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 18th March 2012, I will be taking part in the ´Malaga Half Marathon´ a run of 21.1KM.

I would like to raise money for the Great Ormand Street Hospital (GOSH) charity, as dear friends of mine Ericka & Matt  have been under the hospital with their son George since he was 6 months old.

George is suffering from a Collagen deficiency; namely collagen 2A1.

It is this type of collagen that is present in 90% of the human body’s connective tissue, so bone growth, skin, vision and hearing are all affected.  George’s growth will start to slow and eventually stop, but when this will start to happen is anyone’s guess.

George is an amazing little boy and he has been through so much in his first few years of his life.  I want to take this opportunity to give something back to the charity that does so much for him and also give something to his amazing Mum & Dad, by honouring George´s name and running this marathon.
