Story
On 21st June 2015, both Paul and I will be joining 28,000 other cyclists to travel the 54 miles from London to Brighton to help raise funds and awareness for the British Heart Foundation.
The British Heart Foundation is the UK’s biggest heart charity and the largest independent funder of cardiovascular research.
We want to help raise awareness of, Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) an inherited disease of your heart muscle, where the muscle wall of your heart becomes thickened. HCM is a genetic condition caused by a change or mutation in one or more genes and is passed on through families. Each child of someone with HCM has a 50% chance of inheriting the condition.
