Be More Diane

Samantha Heap is raising money for UK Sepsis Trust
In memory of Diane Heap
Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.

Story

On the 5th July my wonderful Mum Diane was taken from us at just 63 years old by sepsis caused by Invasive Group A Strep. Sepsis was a word we knew but didn’t really understand.

This page is raise money for the incredible Uk Sepsis Trust who continue to educate around sepsis and support the thousand of families it affects each year.

Mum was an incredibly strong lady who tried to help others whenever she could. She was wickedly funny and always looked for the positives. This is how we carry on her legacy.
