It’s my birthday and I would love, love, love to use this occasion to celebrate the AMAZING work carried out by the North London Samaritans, who genuinely inspire me.

About 800 000 people die due to suicide every year. That is one person every 40 seconds. 

Sometimes, a listening ear at the right time can make all the difference.

This branch alone provides emotional support to more than 10,000 (!!!) callers and emailers.

Can you even imagine the number of lives this small group of volunteers - working day and night, until the early hours - has changed AND saved? 

But running the branch costs about £500 per week and, all expenses must be covered by our own fundraising, funding applications, and the kind support of people like you!

So, as a birthday present, all I’m asking is for you to join me in doing something so much more important: supporting the Samaritans in providing free mental health support for all, by making a small donation (£2 for a coffee, £2 for the Samaritans? Any help is cherished help!).
