Samaritans are an incredible charity which aims to reduce the number of unnecessary deaths by suicide across the UK. 

There are currently over 200 Samaritans centres across the country, collectively answering over 5 million cries for help via 24-hour listening service, email, letter etc. Suicide prevention is at the forefront of everything they do and the fact I’m writing this is testament to the indispensable service Samaritans provide. 

18 months ago my life was worthless and now its priceless thanks in part to Samaritans. Through their kindness, patience and reliability they’ve helped myself, my father and my best friend. For this we’ll be eternally grateful.
