I've been trying not too bore everyone to much but this year, along with two compadres, I am attempting to swim the English Channel as part of a three man relay, raising money for St Michael's Hospice, Hereford.

St Michael's has proved an invaluable charity to a very close friend, Mel, who at 16 tragically lost her mum to a fight against multiple malignant cancers. By really caring about the patients needs, Mel's mum was able to feel as comfortable as possible even in her hardest moments. Whilst providing crucial care at the hospice, staff offered a friendly face and continual support to a brave young family, allowed visits day & night and even bought in Mel's mums favorite tipple (not every night I must add!).

St Michael's relies on fundraising to keep doing such a vital & important job in supporting terminally ill people & their families through the toughest times of their lives.

I am swimming the busiest & dirtiest shipping lane in the world as Mel, her family & St Michael's Hospice have been an inspiration to me! This is the biggest challenge I have ever faced and it would be fitting if you could show your love for me and my cause by donating what you can.
