Manchester Marathon 2021 · 10 October 2021 ·
I spontaneously registered for the Manchester Marathon on Sunday 5th April. After running the Manchester Half back in 2017, I thought I’d put myself through even more torture and decided 2020 was a good year to do it. I’m not much of long distance runner, but I’ve never been one to shy away from a challenge and stupidity got the better of me.
After much deliberation, I’ve decided to run it in aid of the Michael Carrick Foundation, who support young people by unlocking their sporting potential, developing their skills and resilience and helping them to become positive figures in their community.
The Michael Carrick Foundation is striving to create opportunities where youngsters across Greater Manchester, feel safe, valued and inspired to achieve their full potential.
Please donate! Any support would be much appreciated.
