And today I FEEL the pain! To the friends who thought I'd pull a sly one, now's the time to sponsor me (as well as buying me a beer!!) Please make the pain in my legs count for St Luke's!

Too hot! Thanks to the kids who sprayed me with their water guns! You helped me finish the gruelling challenge of 13.1 miles in 2:27:01. Amazing how Marathon runners do it! I take my hat off to them!
Dear All,
Many of you know I spent six months working at St Luke's Hospice a while ago. The experience I had there was like no other. Day in and day out healthcare workers, volunteers and fundraisers work incredibly hard to enrich the lives of patients and their families even when so much hope has been lost. They succeed in restoring dignity and faith. The lessons I learnt will never be forgotten.
To give back to St Luke's, I once again ran in the British 10K London Run on 10th July this year. However to make this time round even more of a challenge, I am also going to participate in the Nike Run to the Beat London Music Half Marathon on 25th September 2011.

It will be great to have your support while I develop my fitness levels and on the big day itself.
However it would mean even more if you could dig deep into your pockets and sponsor me, so that the team at St Luke's can continue their fantastic work. And JustGiving have made it even easier to do. All you have to do is follow the link on this page.
Any donations you make will automatically have an extra gift aid allowance added to it at no cost to you when you remember to tick the gift aid box. Your donations will go just that little bit further than you imagined!
Many thanks for your support.
Sameer
