BUPA Great North Run 2013 · 15 September 2013 ·

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

Thanks for visiting my page -  I am aiming to raise £1000 by September for Pancreatic Cancer UK and in memory of Wendy Fox. I will be running the Great North Run on 15 September (I have never ran before, lazy & unfit) so please dig deep and help me out!

Some of you may have known Wendy who sadly passed away last year after a battle with pancreatic cancer which she fought to the very end and was determinded for it not to beat her.

All of Wendy's family and friends were extremely proud of her huge fight with the disease and this has inspired me to do my bit and raise as much money as possible for Pancreatic Cancer UK for research and to hopefully prevent the disease beating the amount of people is does currently.

Any donations are greatly appreciated, whether you knew Wendy or not, it's going to a great cause.

Sam
