Welcome to Sam and Dave's fundraising page! Yep, we're doing this. Its going to make a difference and be fun as well.

What started out as a 'yeah, sounds like a good idea...', 'yeah, could be good...' 'yeah, might maybe do sumfin...' kind of conversation between us has turned into a rock solid commitment to have a positive impact.

In May 2025 we will be setting off at sunrise to bike, hike, and paddle around a challenging course in a race against the sun.

Its the Race the Sun Lake District Coniston Off-Road event and we're doing it to support the children's charity Action Medical Research. As Dads of two children each, this is a cause close to our hearts.

Action Medical Research make. A. Difference. They've spent over 70 years funding vital research to help defeat the diseases that devastate the lives of sick and disabled babies, children, and young people.

So folks, here's the ask - give what you can - because, by supporting Dave (Daphne to his closest) and myself you will be helping fund ways to reduce premature birth, to support children facing a lifetime of challenges caused by disabilities, and to develop cutting-edge therapies for rare and incurable diseases.
