Brighton Marathon for Dementia UK

Brighton Marathon Weekend 2021 · 12 September 2021 ·
Una Marian Bowen-Bravery was an amazing lady, and the most amazing Grandma anyone could ask for. She passed away in September 2020, having been diagnosed with dementia several years prior. She always had a smile on her face, and is remembered very dearly by friends and family alike.
Scott Bowen-Bravery, son of Marian, and my uncle, shared a very close relationship with his mother, and was particularly affected by the loss. Scott was reunited with his Mum in Spring of 2021. Scott’s cheerful nature and compassion is sorely missed.
I am running the Brighton Marathon in loving memory of both Grandma and Uncle Scott, and to raise money for Dementia UK who provide fantastic support to families struggling with Dementia.
I shall be matching any donation made, up to a total of £1000. Therefore any £1 donation will benefit Dementia UK £2.50 (with gift aid).
#TeamDementiaUK are excited to be part of the Brighton 10K in 2021. We are raising money for Admiral Nurses, specialists in dementia care, who support families facing dementia.
