We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

I'm running in aid of Cancer Research UK, as I love their vision and what they have and continue to achieve as a charity.  Plus, I began to support them after my grandmother passed away in 2006, and feel that this disease, above all others, is something I would like to see the end of within my lifetime.

I've so far ran a half marathon, but my fitness levels have plummeted since partaking in that, so I also want to prove to myself that I can do this and to see out my twenties in style.  Life can sometimes get a bit out of control, but there are certain things you can control, one of which is your attitude to life - live it to the full, and enjoy it wherever you can and in whatever way you choose, but keep in mind that happiness cannot be maintained without good health, and that's why it's important to live healthily (... but you don't have to run a marathon to do that, I'm just a crazy fool!)
