**FUNDRAISING UPDATE!**
The Grand total currently stands at an amazing £2029.72!!!!
Thank you for all for supporting my fundraising. I am touched and overwhelmed with the massive support of kind donations, volunteer helpers and donors. Without you it would not have been possible to raise so many funds for CICRA.
At CAF's Kings Hill office I was amazed by the beautifully made and delicious cakes donated by CAF staff. I'm delighted to say that the home cooked chicken and vegetable biryani were a sell out. I enjoyed dressing up for the day, apparently some people didn't recognise me after my glamorous makeover!
Fundraising in London it was just as much a success and dressing up as a parrot for the day was a lot of fun. As well as to CAF, I sold food to Carlson Wagon on the 6th floor of the building and the newspaper on the 8th floor.
I did not enjoy my sponsored silence I love to talk! In the last hour I became fidgety, wanting the clock to tick at the speed I talk! However, I managed but have no intention of doing another one ever...
This was my first fundraising event and thanks to you it was a complete success. Thanks a million!

Lots of wonderful people to thank!
CAF Kings Hill office: Special thanks to CAF helpers Alison, Andrew, Ann, David, Lucy, Malcolm, Niki, Pippa and Tony. Thanks externally to Abid, who helped deliver and serve the food and Mona who made 40 servings of vegetable biryania and 200 samosas!
CAF London office: Special thanks to CAF helpers Eunice for the beautiful cakes, Casey for her delicious cookies and Samantha for setting up and decorating the trolley. And externally: Fiona for her time and for donating raffle prizes, Lydia for her time and the Jollof fried rice, Mala for the kachuri and Umara for loaning me a dramatic sari. Thanks to Margaret Lee of the CICRA trustees who provided a letter of authorisation from the charity, confirming I was raising funds on their behalf. This was essential for fundraising at companies in the London office building.
Special sponsors and contributors: My fundraising would not have been possible without my special sponsors and contributors. Thank you so much to all the staff at CAF, Carlson Waggon, Oscars (KH), Ile Ounje Catering Services., Zu’s Sizzlers, Il Cappuccino, Sables Celebration Cakes, Montgomery whole Fruit & Vegetable, Funda at Redbridge College, Nisa Homemade recipe, Asda, European Halal Meat, Kashmir Food Store, TM Lewin, Tesco,Waitrose, Bodgers of Ilford, Escapade and all my online contributors.
Thank you all so very very much. Your funds will help to provide support to families and suffers of Crohn's and Colitis, and support for research that will hopefully one day find the cause and develop a cure.

Thank you for taking thetime to visit my Justgiving page.
On May 25 I will be performing a sponsored silence for 3.5 hours and on 27th & 31st transforming my appearance wearing fancy dress costume at Charities Aid Foundation to raise money and awareness for CICRA, a charity close to my heart as they provided immense support to me and my son, Saad.
On June 10th 2005 at the age of 10, Saad was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis (chronic inflammation of the large colon and, together with Crohn’s Diseaase collectively known as inflammatory bowel disease-IBD). Saad is now in remission with the help of powerful daily medication and is successfully sitting his GCSEs.
With the help of generous donations from supporters such as yourself no matter how small CICRA will be able to continue providing support for young sufferers and their families, and support approved medical research aimed at finding more effective treatments and an eventual cure. For further information please visit www.circra.org
Any amount of donation you give will be very much appreciated. Thank you for your support.
