We provide respite and rehabilitation programmes for the benefit of members and ex-members of Israel's Defence Forces who were injured whilst serving in the IDF and to Victims of Terror

Story

Thanks for supporting my chosen barmitzvah charity. I visited Beit Halochem over Pesach and was amazed by what I saw. There were athletes playing competitive basketball, dancers, men on shooting rangers, swimmers. All were taking part in sport and events that gave them a chance to be normal even though they didn't have a limb or couldn't see.

I have chosen to support Beit Halochem because it provides lifelong support for the Israeli disabled soldiers and victims of terror.

Established in the wake of the War of Independence (1949), today, more than 51,000 members are given a new lease of life at the four facilities in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa and Beer Sheva. It recognises that the men and women of the Israel Defence Forces serve their country with courage and dedication. They are Israel’s first line of defence, a responsibility they face with great bravery.
