Welcome to the Sunshine Warriors fund raising page! Our team is made up of Naomi, Sammy, Kelly and Carla. This May we are taking on the Race the Sun challenge in the Lake District. We wanted to do something positive for a worthy cause so we are going to take on this gruelling challenge and raise money for Action Medical Research for children.

As a team of four, we will have from dawn until dusk to complete a 23 mile off-road bike ride, a 2.5 mile mountain hike with an 803m ascent and 2 miles kayaking across a lake, all taking place in the Lake District!

We are really hoping you will sponsor us to support a worthy cause…Action Medical Research for Children. They have spent over 70 years funding vital research to help defeat the diseases that devastate the lives of sick babies, children and young people, as well as finding ways to reduce premature birth and pregnancy complications and childhood cancers. They are working hard to develop cutting-edge therapies for rare and incurable diseases.
