Having recently been diagnosed with Breast Cancer I wanted to get a group of my best friends together to celebrate the finish of my treatment which is presently on going. This 26 mile walk in September will mark the end and will be 12 months from my diognosis. I wanted to celebrate in different way to how I might normally do so and this walk fits the bill. Getting everyone together, raising money and having walking dates with my friends will give us all a great focus. I feel extremely lucky to have found my lump early which was only eight months after a clear mammogram. So ladies please don‘t become complacent. Make sure you are examining yourselves!
