Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you know I should have been taking part In a sky dive but due to reasons out of my control i am now not able to take part so I have come up with a new adventure. Sunday 15th March my 10 year old daughter Lilly and myself will be doing the fastest zip wire in the world. It will take us at speeds of up to 100mph over a quary in Wales. We are doing this for my beautiful daughter Faith.
Faith was born 9th November 2018 at 09.49, we knew our little girl was going to be born poorly she was diagnosed with a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia when I was 26 weeks pregnant. We were told if she was strong enough then this was operable but she had a long way to go, our little girl had a fight on her little hands, Faith was taken straight to Neonatal where she was sedated and put on a ventilator, Faith was on so many machines and medications. Over the next few days Faith showed such amazing strength for someone so tiny, we loved her with all our hearts.
At 5 days old Faith was also diagnosed with Trisomy 18 also known as Edwards Syndrome. Our world fell apart, our hearts broke when we were told our beautiful little fighter would not live. Faiths consultant told us once we took Faith off her ventilator that we could get a few hours with her maybe days and in some cases babies live for a couple of months. I willed her to live just for a while so I could be her Mommy.
The morning Faith was diagnosed a lady from Acorns Children's Hospice came out to see us, she offered us a place with them where we could take Faith and spend what ever time we had with her together as a family with there care and support.
On Friday 16th November 2018 we made the decision to take Faith off her ventilator, at 09.49 Faith passed away in my arms.
We are trying to raise some much needed money for such an amazing charity. Acorns do amazing work for childern and their families.
Unfortunately we never got chance to take our little girl to Acorns but I know that they are a life line to many.
I'm doing this not only for Acorns but for my beautiful little girl Faith.
Please give what you can. Thank you xx
