This year, I'm participating in the Friends of Wissahickon's All Trails Challenge. This fundraiser involves me embarking on hiking all 50 miles of the park's trails in exchange for your cold hard cash. All funds go directly to the FOW, which is the organization that supports the park in Philadelphia.
The Wissahickon means a lot to me and is more than just a cool spot to hang out. Although I've engaged with the park a lot, during the pandemic my daughter Maggie and I spent countless hours exploring the various trails. She more or less learned to walk and become the curious person she is today during these excursions, and it kept me sane during the long hours of isolation. You can see the story I wrote on the timeline. Thanks for any support you may be able to give!
