The Vitality Big Half 2020 · 1 March 2020 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Matt Wells and myself will be running the Vitality Half Marathon in London on 1st March. Just incase you didn't get that, Matt Wells and Sam Lewis are running. Your ears didn't decieve you.
If you know Matt and I, you would also know that this is the last thing on Earth we would want to do. It's cold, it's wet, and we have literally no experience in running. It's hard enough getting off the sofa to make a tea, let alone getting on all our training gear at 5am in the middle of winter to do a cheeky 5k run.
So why they hell are you doing it, I hear you ask?

Hope for the Young, remove the obstacles for refugees' education and well-being through financial and mentoring support. They believe all young people in the world should be able to access education and be supported if they don't have any other adults to depend on.
It is such a fantastic Charity, run by one of our best friends, Matthew Blacker. He works tirelessly to improve the lives of young immigrants in the UK, and has created an amazing metoring and education project for them. He loves what he does, and we would love to be able to help him expand his project and help more people like Manmohan in similar life-changing stories like this https://hopefortheyoung.org.uk/2019/12/20/manmohan-and-victorias-life-changing-story/ which you can find on Hope For the Young's website.
We would be extremely grateful if you could spare any money for donation, big or small. We're working really hard on training for this half marathon and it would mean to world to so many if you could help us achieve our goal.
