Story

The COPS 30 miler is a 30 mile, load-bearing ‘yomp’ across rugged Northumberland countryside, with participants running alongside Royal Marines commandos.

The aim of the event is to closely replicate the famous 30 mile yomp across Dartmoor that Royal Marines recruits must complete as the final commando test at the end of their training.

As the only load-bearing event of its kind where participants run alongside serving Royal Marines, the COPS 30 miler is as close as it gets to the real thing and aims to raise significant funds for the Care of Police Survivors charity (COPS), along with the Royal Marines Charity.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I know finances can be tight for many families at the moment, so any donation you can make is greatly appreciated.

Thank you
