Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you know, I was due to run in the Manchester Marathon last month on behalf of Save The Children. However, due to coronavirus, it was cancelled. π
After over 400 days of continuous running, every single day without a day missed and over 24 miles per week, and the uncertainty of being able to complete this event as it is still in the process of being rescheduled, I felt it would be great to put all the training to good use and still raise some money!
Therefore, I have decided to run the route of the Potters 'Arf Marathon... but TWICE! πββοΈ That's a gruelling 26+ miles in one day around hilly Stoke-on-Trent! π€
The actual Potters 'Arf Marathon was cancelled a few months back, again due to coronavirus, but that doesn't stop anyone from running the route! So, on the day the event should actually be happening (Sunday, 14th June 2020) I will be running the exact route - but twice over! π
Since the Manchester Marathon is supposedly still going ahead later on in 2020, I will still be raising money for Save The Children for this event. However, for my attempt of the Potters 'Arf "Double" Marathon next month, I have chosen to raise some money for our fantastic NHS during this pandemic! π
My question is: Will you pleeeeeease sponsor me and help to raise some funds for our fantastic NHS? π It's for a fantastic cause, and whatever is raised will make a massive difference! π I have set-up a JustGiving page for any donations, and anything is massively appreciated! π
As well as busting my joints on some terrible inclines, this is also my first ever marathon... and it's in Stoke-on-Trent! π This is gonna be tough, but I'm certainly up for the challenge! π
Thanks so much for reading guys!
Stay safe! π
