So my friend Pam does an annual fundraising activity for the Life Education Centre Northamptonshire and after they'd done the 2011 one I said I fancy a challenge in 2012, let me know when you've decided what you're gonna do for it. A few months pass and Pam says we're gonna do an abseil, are you up for it. I say yeah why not...

It's just abseiling, how hard can it be...?

Now this isn't just any old abseil. We're abseiling down the National Lift Tower in Northampton. At 418ft (127m) it is the tallest permanent abseil tower in the world. Not just the UK, not just Europe, THE WORLD!! Have a look at some of the pictures to get an idea of the scale.

There's no backing out now so please help make it worthwhile. Even the smallest donation helps as this LEC Northamponshire is a completely self supporting charity that do some great work.
