The YMCA was the first time I played and organized sport as a child playing T-Ball. Well 20 plus years later it would also the be first time my son Christian would play T-ball and then flag football. Soon after we would be Y members to enjoy the gym and pool amenities. Not until  the pandemic did I learn that my Y was more than a place to play sports, work out, and go swimming. They were provided meal, school supplies, a place for our seniors to congregate just to name a few.
