As many of you will be aware I have taken part in a number of fundraising events in the past for the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) including skydiving, half  marathon running and bungee jumping. The reason I decided to start charity fundraising for NRAS is because in 2001 my step father, Lee Evans, was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and he lived with the progressive disease until he sadly passed away in the Summer of 2003 when I was 16. Lee had a massive impact on my life and he helped me/still helps me to achieve my ambitions and be the best person I can be. Lee was more than a step father to me, he was my best friend and we all miss him. So I have decided to do all of these fundraising events in his memory, in the hope that families and friends affected by this condition get the help and support they need.
