Story
My name is Samuel Skinner and thank you for taking the time to visit my Just giving page for Piam Brown Ward. On December 13th I will be running THE WINTER DOWNS 200 ultra Marathon.
The race is continuous and THE ROUTE FORMS A GIANT LOOP AROUND THE SOUTH OF ENGLAND, TAKING IN THE NORTH DOWNS WAY, VANGUARD WAY, SOUTH DOWNS WAY, WAYFARERS WALK AND ST SWITHUNS WAY.
Runners have up to 96 hours to complete the course with live tracking available across the entire event. The clock doesn't stop, this is a single stage race. With 16 hours of darkness each day, long stretches between aid stations and the undulating terrain, the race is designed to be an incredibly tough winter running adventure on what is a phenomenal course.
I have taken part in a few challenges since the COVID-19 outbreak,to help raise money for the incredible Piam Brown ward, but this is by far the toughest single stage race to date. Please donate anything you have spare to this incredible charity.
