Story
"Whoever saves the life of one human being, it shall be as if he had saved mankind entirely..." (5:32).
No donation is ever too small. If everyone does a little, together we can all do a lot.
My name is Sana and I am collecting donations to help Pakistan build its third Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital in Karachi. The construction in the city will be of immense importance to those living in Sindh and Balochistan, as they will be able to access comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic cancer facilities under one roof, entirely free of charge for those who cannot afford the costs. The construction began in December 2018, and the budget for 2019 is Rs. 13.5 billion, which will not only allow the continuation of providing free cancer treatments to over 75% of all cancer patients seen in Peshawar and Lahore, but also fund the construction of the Clinical Tower in Lahore, the development of surgical services in Peshawar and the construction of the hospital in Karachi.
It is my humble request to all to donate however much is possible. Your generosity brings hope to those suffering from cancer in Karachi, in Sindh and Balochistan, and in all of Pakistan.
Remember, every bit counts.
Thank you.
