Irtiqa Arif is raising money for Ummah Welfare Trust
In memory of Sanam's Nani
Ummah Welfare Trust was founded in 2001 with the goal of challenging the huge poverty and injustice prevalent in the Ummah today. Inspired by the Islamic teachings of empathy and selflessness, the charity strives to support and uplift the impoverished through the beautiful act of charity.

Story

We have set this page up in loving Memory of Sanam's Nani

She was indeed a loving mother, wife and daughter - not only did she touch our hearts but touched the hearts of everyone she knew.

We are hoping we can continue to be of benefit to Sanams beloved Nani by fundraising for a waterpump as sadaqah e Jaariyah (on-going charity) for her on-going reward.

" When a person dies, all his deeds come to an end except 3: sadaqah jaariyah (ongoing charity), beneficial knowledge (which he has left behind), or a righteous child who will pray for him."

We pray that this effort of ours is accepted by Allah and that through our donations on behalf of Sanams Nani and that she is given the opportunity to drink from Howde Kauthar through the hands of the beloved Prophet peace be upon him ameen.

The gift of water saves lives, which is a hugely rewardable action. Allah says in the Qur’an, ‘And whoever saves one [a life] - it is as if he had saved all of mankind’. (Qur’an, 5:32) Imagine this - every single time the clean water you donated saves someone’s life, it is as if you have saved all of mankind!

It is ‘the best charity’

‘The Messenger of Allah (saw) was asked, “Which charity is best?” He replied, “[Providing] water”’. [Abu Dawud] to the nearest meaning

Please do donate generously and help us reach the target of only £1200.

May Allah preserve this act and continuously accept the Sadaqah Jaariyah on behalf of Sanams Nani – Ameen.
