Pancreatic Cancer Action is the only UK charity dedicated to saving lives through early diagnosis. Pancreatic cancer is the 5th biggest cancer killer and the 10th most common cancer in the UK. Your support means we can continue to raise awareness of the symptoms to ensure early diagnosis.

Story

Sadly I lost my husband Pete to Pancreatic Cancer on 17th December 2012 and since then I have worked to raise awareness of the symptoms of this horrendous cancer with its awful survival statistics.  Pancreatic Cancer Action is a charity that helped me cope better with Peter's diagnosis and care, and have helped me since with their support.  Sadly Patrick Swayze the star of this film, also lost his life far too young to this vile Cancer.  So ... I stole the idea, but thought it would be great if my local beautifully restored cinema in Evesham would show the film for me, to friends, family and supporters to help to raise funds for the charity and to raise awareness also.  Seats are £5.00 each and the date is Tuesday 30th September at 10.00 am. The film will begin at 10.30 am and there will be a raffle.  Tea and coffee will be sold by the Regal and they will be making a contribution from this to the charity.  I have to cover the costs of their administration and their staff etc for the morning showing so I need to sell a lot of tickets so it would be great to get sponsors as well as selling seats,  hence I have started this Just Giving Page.  The costs to put on this film is £500 so I am hoping for lots and lots of support so there is a profit for Pancreatic Cancer Action to help them with their amazing work.  Thank you for reading.
