Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am one of 20 volunteer contestants taking part in this year's Zoe's Place Strictly Christmas 2017...continued into 2018 (because of the snow).

Not only do I want to raise money for this great charity, but I will also achieve a personal goal, by learning to dance.

In 2016, I broke my ankle badly and I only just started walking properly last September. This marks the start of my getting back to fitness regime and to be able to perform as part of this challenge is a huge achievement for me, whilst raising money for such a worthwhile cause.

Our postponed show takes place on 4th February. We have raised £55,000 to date.

Thank you for your support.

Zoë’s Place is an independent registered Charity providing palliative, respite and end of life care to babies and infants aged from birth to 5 years suffering from life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. Compassionate care is at the heart of our philosophy and this is provided to all who access the facilities at Zoë’s Place, regardless of their religious beliefs, colour, race, culture or gender. There is no cost to the families for this service. The staff at Zoë’s Place provide care and support 24 hours a day for both the child and the family.
