At the Irlen Syndrome Foundation, we raise awareness of a perceptual processing difficulty known as Irlen Syndrome in order to increase proper identification and alleviate difficulties associated with this condition. When the brain is unable to process visual information correctly, it can cause reading difficulties and other academic difficulties and debilitating physical symptoms. We are working to ensure that all those who need it receive proper identification and intervention, through our scholarships, pilot schools, and research.
