At just 18 months old our youngest son Hamilton was diagnosed with Right side Hemiplegia, a form of cerebral palsy caused by a stroke suffered before being born  

Hemiplegia affects the right hand side of his body, meaning he needs to wear a leg support to aid mobility and a Lycra sleeve to aid motor skills

This disability isn't just physical it also affects his learning, his concentration, his emotions, anxiety, confidence, friendships, the list goes one  

Hemichat has been a lifeline for our family and others with children of Hemiplegia, it brings families together to support each other, offering advice, experiences and information sharing, funds allow for this whilst also letting the children build friendships and take inspiration from the older children with Hemiplegia too, all whilst putting a smile on their faces
