We are joining Sand’s in their October Challenge for Baby Loss awareness month; the goal is to walk 310k steps in 31 days. However, we have decided to increase the challenge further by raising the target to 500k each, a million between us, which equates to roughly 237 miles each over the month.

As a parent (Lora) and Auntie (Marie), we have experienced the devastating impact of losing a child; Finn was born sleeping on the 13th April 2012. Grief still ebbs and flows, but we would love to help other families now, and in the future, weather this dark storm. Your gift will support bereaved families in their darkest times and contribute to funding essential research aimed at reducing/preventing stillbirths and neonatal deaths. Currently, 16 babies a day still lose their lives in this country.

If you could spare 50p, £5 or any amount, we’d be immensely grateful. Any contribution will make a huge difference, personally it will help keep Finn’s legacy strong, as well as supporting the Sand’s vision to create a world where fewer babies die.
