On the 14th & 15th August 2021 we will be walking 3 country parks in Essex to raise money for Mind Charity. We will be covering the distance of half a marathon across the weekend. 

Over the past 2 years since the pandemic everyone's mental health has been affected in one way or another, this could be someone that is close to you a friend, family member, work colleague or even have felt the affects yourself. Working in the NHS you also get to see this first hand and the rise in child and adolescent mental health admissions has been at an all time high.

Last year I came up with the idea of a way of raising money, boosting everyone's mood/self esteem and a fun way of getting fit in the process. Now I think everyone can agree through lockdown walking became our new normal and something that most of us took for granted. We got to appreciate being outdoors, our surroundings and discovering a new way to get fit.

In 2020 myself, my bootcampers, friends, family and loved ones joined in our 3 Park Challenge where everyone who joined and even amazing people who donated supporting everyone who took part, we all walked over 3 country parks in Essex and they all walked their hearts out and the support and friendship people made on the day was truly amazing .... So i thought why not make this an annual fundraiser so we are back for 2021!!! and we cannot wait.
