Sandstone Trail · 3 September 2022

At Flight Centre giving back to communities where we live work and travel is an important part of who we are and what we do. We are currently supporting the Trussell Trust in a Charity Of The Year partnership.

Story

On the 3rd September 2022 we are tackling the 55km Sandstone Trail which runs though the heart of Cheshire. Starting off in the ancient market town of Frodsham, the route takes us along the picturesque sandstone ridge, including over 1000 metres of climbing, before finishing in Georgian Whitchurch.

This is by far the furthest we've ever attempted to walk in one day and would really appreciate your support for a very worthy cause! All the money we raise will also be matched by Flight Centre UK, who are supporting the Trussell Trust this year.

It's a travesty that there is a need for food banks in the UK, but that is the reality for so many people who are locked in poverty. This crisis is only going to worsen over the coming months as food and energy prices skyrocket and our 'leaders' squabble over inadequate policies.

The Trussell Trust are working towards a just, compassionate future, where no one should have to use a food bank to get by. This an ambitious vision but if we work together it is possible. We can create a future where nobody goes hungry, because nobody will allow it – when we work Together for Change.
