Story
Recently the life of a colleague and friend was tragically cut short. He was out for his usual morning ride on his beloved bike, when he was involved in an accident with a car, and did not survive. Unfortunately accidents like this are way too common. Many of us will know someone who has been injured or involved in an accident whilst cycling their bike.
On 29th April I will be taking part in TooMoo 2017. Riders have from sunrise to sunset to cycle from Toowoomba to Mooloolaba in Queensland. It's a gruelling 220 km ride with 2,000 m of elevation gain and I can guarantee at least one very sore arse.
So, in memory of my colleague and friend, I am raising donations for the Amy Gillett Foundation. Their mission is to reduce the incidence of serious injury and death of bike riders in Australia. Please dig deep and give generously.
