Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am a Clinical Nurse Specialist at St Johns Hospice in Lancaster and work on the community supporting people with a palliative diagnosis. I help to manage their physical symptoms related to their palliative disease. In addition I assess any psychological, spiritual or social problems and needs and signpost to other services to support. Anyone who knows me will know how much I love my food. This goal will be a real challenge for me but, one I am committed to now. Due to COVID 19 a lot of the fundraising events have had to be cancelled along with the cafe that generates a lot of their income. Funding from the NHS is limited and 2/3rds of the income is from charitable income. Yet still we are there supporting our local community on the in-patient ward area and in the community with our team and Hospice at Home during this time. I urge you to support me and donate any amount that you can to help support me support St Johns Hospice.
