Santa Cycle Dash, 5 December 2017
Improving the experience of those approaching the end of their life is so important. When this time is spent in the confines of a hospital it can be challenging. Please help us to make a difference.

Story

Our staff are passionate about making things better for our
patients.  So much so that they will be dressing up as Santa and competing in a 26 mile static relay cycle race to raise funds to support our End of Life Campaign.

In particular we are fundraising for special LED sky ceiling panels to some of our side rooms.  They give the impression of being outdoors (it could be by the seaside, in a field, or just looking up to the sky).  They create a calming atmosphere and can also be accompanied by pre-recorded nature sounds.

Our event will take place on Tuesday 5 December 2017 in the main reception at Russells Hall Hospital.  Give us a wave if you are passing.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

The Dudley Group NHS Charity makes a real difference to those being treated in our hospitals or in their own homes. We are not about providing healthcare; charitable donations enable us to give extra comfort, equipment and facilities above and beyond those which are supplied by the NHS.
