During 2019 the team raised an impressive £1,180 for Shooting Star Chase. After a turbulent year during 2020, we are now back in 2021 to get running and raise some money for such an important cause. This year’s team includes some new members, bringing the team to a strong 6 participants, with hopes of smashing the 2019 amount.

Shooting star Chase does some amazing work through its hospices for babies, children, and young people, who have life-limiting conditions. The support the charity gives to families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement is unbelievable. Covering nursing, day care, medical care, therapies, and support groups for the families.

They do this free of charge and so rely on charitable giving.

We want to do our best to support the charity by running the Royal Parks Half Marathon – a huge 21km run around the sights of London.

Therefore, any contribution - no matter the size, can effectively impact the lives of thousands of children and teenagers, who need a supportive and caring environment.
