Story
This October, I will be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London, in memory of my dad, as this November will mark 20 years since he sadly passed away.
I will be running to raise money for Grief Encounter, an incredible charity which support children, young people and families who are experiencing difficulties caused by the death of someone close. Grief Encounter also provide schools and professionals with advice and talks. When you lose a parent as a young child, it can be hard as you grow up to understand your emotions and how to process them, which is why supporting the amazing work Grief Encounter does with young children to help them navigate this is so important to me. Everyone should feel like they can open up and talk about grief, whether you were 3 or 30 when your loved one passed.
I am so proud and excited to be raising money and running for such a special cause which is very close to my heart, to support young children and families who are struggling with the grief losing a loved one causes.
Any donations would mean the world to me and the charity ❤️
