Story
Assalamulikum, my name is Saqib. I have been diagnosed with Stage 1 Testicular Cancer and I am currently undergoing chemotherapy.
I discovered a lump on the left testicle and Alhamdulilah, I was in a position to be seen by a Consultant at a private clinic. Within two weeks, I was able to undergo blood tests, an Ultrasound scan, CT scan and an Orchiectomy of my left testicle. The cancer was diagnosed and my treatment had began with the NHS.
Alhamdulilah Allah has blessed me to be living in a country, where I have had access to the funds and facilities to have my cancer diagnosed and treated quickly. If it wasn’t for this, I wouldn’t be here to share my story. Unfortunately, over nine million cancer patients across the world every year cannot afford cancer treatment. Mothers, daughters, fathers suffer with the devastating consequences of cancer due to poverty.
Therefore, I have decided to start this charity campaign with registered UK charity, MAA Foundation, who have opened a Cancer Diagnostic Centre in Azad Kashmir, to give the poor an opportunity to receive treatment for free. The mission is to give those who are underprivileged an opportunity to be cancer free.
I have a goal to raise £500 so that MAA Foundation can fund to buy a CT scan machine at their Cancer Diagnostic Centre.
Help us help the poor in their fight against cancer through a donation. Sadaqah and Zakat accepted. Every penny helps.
Jazakallah Khair.
