Story
As many of you will know, our mum has bowel cancer. The disease was diagnosed late thereby limiting her treatment options. The Colorectal Research Fund is a charity dedicated to researching this pernicious illness along with Crohn's and Colitis.
We are all powerless when a disease like cancer strikes the people close to us. Supporting a charity like this is one small gesture we can make to honour the person we love and hopefully to help others avoid the difficult times our mum has been going through (she hates the word battling...) with such amazing humour and life-affirming spirit.
So, we are planning on doing this 12 k walk in Richmond Park in September (ok we're not running a marathon, we're not mugs) to support this worthy charity and would invite you to sponsor us.
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
